Sean O'Malley, official spokesman for Mel Gibson, conducted a hastily arranged press conference Tuesday afternoon at the Four Seasons Hotel. He forcefully denied the report that Mel Gibson had entered a rehab.
Mr. O'Malley then announced that Mr. Gibson was joining a kibbutz in the Negev desert of Israel and would remain there for one year.
