The Democratic Dilemma
Ron Paul and others criticize the Federal Reserve for controlling or economy while being an unelected group. We have an elected group, Congress, and we see how effective it is. Committees, panels, and study groups are ofen formed and given powers so as to "keep them out of politics" So, which is it, unelected and presumably non partisan, or democratically elected and often non-functional?
