A Christmas Story

It's OK to be so old, and so wise, but there is a downside. It's a bit deflating when little old ladies or 4 or 5 year-old children open doors for you. Then, on the day before Christmas, came the ultimate. I went to the large drug store to get some shaving cream. As I stood in the aisle I noticed a couple with the man pushing the woman seated in a wheelchair  Then, they came right up to me and asked if I wanted to use the chair. Now, really! And when I said no thanks,they kept asking if I was sure.

I may never go out in public again,
