TEBOW

Because of my support of the right of NFL players to protest, I have been asked whether I support Tim Tebow's right to kneel in prayer after a touchdown.

Well, I do. But I consider it inappropriate. It disparages the efforts of the team that got him the touchdown. And, it's football game!
Also, there is a big difference between practicing religion and staging a protest. Protests have to be disruptive; they need to attract attention. Religion is personal; it need not intrude on secular activity. Performing a religious rite in front of others can be offensive. Much worse are intrusions such as those cult activities we used to see at airports.
