"Alaska, it's people, and its wild life are threatened as Trump and Republicans are hastily removing regulations limiting oil and gas drilling in protected areas.#
  This callous and foolish action adds more harm to our planet as we all should be working to prevent this and taking serious action compensating for existing harm and exploring was to preserve our planet for life here. Space exploration is one avenue but it should not take money or time from efforts
to enable our existence here. It should be much easier to do this than erect structures and provide everything else needed to let humans live on, say, Mars.
