BUSH WARNS THAT IRAQ THREATENS WORLD ECONOMY Reuters 1/1/03
At his Texas ranch, President Bush told reporters that Iraq has the power to unleash economic chaos if given the chance to mount an attack on the United States.
I suppose so, if it had a real chance to attack the U.S. Does the administration fear an Iraqi invasion? About as likely as Cuba attacking armed with stalks of sugar cane. Or maybe the U.S. should mount a pre-emptive strike against Mars, just in case the Martians might might be planning to wreak havoc.
We know who has the real power to hurt the U.S. and world economy - and has taken steps in that direction
