FLAT EARTH PROCLAMATION
Monday July 14, 2003
President Bush today issued an Executive Order prohibiting travel out of the United States' mainland. In a brief
statement, the President warned of the imminent threat to U.S. citizens posed by geographical circumstances.
British geographers have reported that the earth is, indeed, flat, and that this presents the risk that unwary
travellers might fall off the edge.
Special permits to travel beyond U.S. borders can be obtained by application to Attorney General John Ashcroft.
The wording used in this bulletin has been accepted by the Chief of the U.S. Geographical Agency,
Georgette Tenance.
