NEWS CORP CANCELS ANOTHER SIMPSON BOOK
November 24 Earlier this week, News Corp., the parent company of book publisher HarperCollins and the FOX network, canceled publication of the O.J. Simpson book and television special "If I Did It." Today,
News Corp. announced that it had ordered work ceased on a related project.
The project involved the development of a follow-up book to take advantage of the publicity to be engendered by the Simpson book. The planned book was to be a compilation entitled "If We Did It", with a forward by O.J. Simpson. Contributions to the work were to include submissions by Robert Blake,
Michael Jackson, Mark Foley, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad.
