Obama Abandons Wilderness Plan

Don't know the details behind this decision, but it looks too much like another abandonment of the causes embraced by President Obama.

Just where is he on environmental and climate change issues? We know that it is difficult or impossible to get legislation to reduce carbon emissions and other needed changes. But where is the bully pulpit on these issues? He should be calling out Republicans (and some Democrats) and mustering public opinion for prompt and meaningful action.
