Marco Rubio's water break

Many commentators have said that, as he reached for the water bottle, Mr. Rubio was careful to maintain eye contact with his viewers. I doubt this. Nothing wrong about it, but I'm sure that his effort was to maintain eye contact with his teleprompter.

One of the reasons the GOP gives for blocking a vote on confirmation of Chuck Hagel is that the Republicans want "more debate" Then, they go on vacation for a week.

Yesterday, Senate Republicans, by filibuster, blocked a vote on confirmation of Chuck Hagel to be Secretary of Defense. This was the first such aciton in history.

Now that U.S Air and American Airlines are merging, they have a wider choice of locations when losing your luggage.

Spring is Here

Not really. But yesterday morning flocks of robins descended onto our property here in Eastern NC. They filled the trees and crowded on the ground to feed. This happens every year as they stop to rest and eat during their trip north. But it's a bit early and I do hope that they're not headed to New England expecting to dig for worms there.
