Hobby Lobby case
SCOTUS POCUS
By some kind of magic, the corporate entity is made to disappear for some owners with particular beliefs. Or is a corporation somehow endowed with religious beliefs?
For the first time in our nation's history, the Supreme Court has ruled that some private corporations can dictate the health choices of female employees and limit their access to contraception on religious grounds.
By what criteria does a court choose to empower particular beliefs. Surely not plural marriages or racial discrimination. How about opposition to vaccinations or blood transfusions? Why doesn't public health and the right to health care trump religious beliefs and opinions?
Next, Walmart?
